The Fluidity Of Sexual Orientation Qualitative Research

Research on sexual orientation has gone through the process from the binary division, mufti-division to the current queer theory as the theoretical support to the flow of ideas sexuality. Western research of women’ sexuality not only illustrates the construction of sexual orientation and mobility, it also gave us a whole new perspective on sexuality and identity development. This article based on queer theory which rooted in post-modernism,using of qualitative research,with one feminist group in Beijing as a field,from which selected five respondents to collect qualitative data to analyze the history of their life which mean to illustrate the subjective construction and mobility of sexual orientation. Through qualitative research of subjective construction and mobility to break the simple classification and mainstream hegemony of sexual orientation. Also this article mean to enhance the understanding and acceptance of mainstream society for sexual majority people and give the support for professional counselors which help the sexual minority.
