With the requirements by the revolution of college entrance examination and new standards of English courses in the primary schools, it is very urgent for English teaching reform in the basic education. And it has become new subject for researchers to study English teaching in the primary schools from multiple aspects. Ecology class has been an ideal type for modern English classroom in the primary schools famous for its unique thoughts and ideas.Through literature research method, questionnaire and interview in this paper, it consists of 5 parts. The first one is introduction, which aims at explaining topic basis, domestic and foreign educational ecology and research overview of ecology class. The second part is the theoretical review on ecology class in the primary schools, including related concepts definition, evaluating standards, related theories in this paper and the significance of ecology class in the primary schools. The third part is the questionnaires and interviews for both students and teachers in X primary school in Panjin. The author knows about the status of English ecology class in the primary school and existing questions through analysis of the research, classroom observation and evaluating standards for ecology class. The forth part is that the author analyzes the causes of the existing questions in the English ecology class in the primary school according to the standards. The last part is the related improvement strategies for English ecology class in the primary school combined with the third and forth part and the author’s teaching experience.Under the guidance of educational ecology and permanent educational theories, this paper reviews the existing questions in the English ecology class in the primary schools from 4 aspects of independence, equivalence, diversity and development, and puts forward related practical improvement strategies combined theories with practice in order to make contributions to implement of English ecology class in the primary schools.
