College Students’ Ecological Moral Education Research

According to the Report to the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC: “We must treasure nature more consciously, protect the ecosystem more actively, and strive to usher in a new era of socialist ecological progress”. Ecological civilization is the achievement which means human respect for nature, conforming to nature, conservation of nature. Facing the increasingly serious ecological crisis such as river pollution, land desertification, Dwindling wild fauna and flora and haze, to strengthen students’ ecological moral education and cultivate the students’ consciousness of ecological civilization can make the sustainable development of the Chinese nation come true,and achieve the beautiful dream of China’s ecological.This paper is based on the theory of ideological and political education,applied methods of literature research, the questionnaire and comprehensive analysis,studied the Ecological and moral education for students. There are four parts in this paper:The first part is the introduction. This section describes research background, significance of the topic, research status, research ideas, research methods and innovations of this paper.The second part is the basic theory of ecological and moral education. This part defined the related concepts of the ecological and moral education, summarized the theoretical basis of ecological and moral education and further elaborated on the need for strengthening the ecological and moral education of students.The third part is the analysis of current situation and reasons of the ecological and moral education. This section based on the questionnaire to analyze the achievements, main problem and the major reasons from three aspects which are society, universities and students.The forth part is the countermeasure of ecological and moral education. This section based on the problems and the reasons analyzing the ecological and moral education, take methods related to ideological and political education,combining theory with practice and propose some solution which are improving the environment and to create a good educational atmosphere, enriching students’ ecological and moral education, innovating teaching methods of ecological and moral education, perfecting the system of ecological and moral education, constructing the high level teachers of ecological and moral education.
