The 2013 world men’s badminton doubles competition is particularly fierce, especially the top five badminton doubles player in the world. Despite the application of different skills, they are well matched in strength. To win the game, badminton players must depend on coherent defending and attacking besides harmonious cooperation between each other rather than simple striking one by one. Traditional match of men’s doubles generally emphasize "joined", which relays on the attacking absolute power to win the match, represented by China and South Korea, whose level of attack-defense of men’s double has developed to an extreme. However, the style of men’s double from Indonesia that forms a half-court assault type style in terms of limiting attack, is unique.With the methods of literature review,video observation,mathematical statistics,experts survey and logical analysis, this paper analyzes the 2013 Badminton World Federation Super Series joined by Setiawan Hendra/Mohammad Ahsan, Lee Yong Dae/KO Sung Hyun, Mathias Boe/ Carsten Mogensen, Kim Gi Jung/Kim Sa Rang, Liu Xiaolong/QIU Zihan which had total 18 games and makes tatistical analysis of serve, return of serve, the third stroke,offensive and defensive stage and score point. According to data analysis, this paper reveals the technical and tactical characteristics and the feagure of the world top men,s doubles nowdays and is beneficial to understand the future development trend of badminton technical and tactical characteristics. The author expects to provide reference for Chinese men’s badmintion double players to improve their technical and tactical characteristics.Through verification, the following conclusions are obtained.1. Five men’s badmintion doubles keep the service ball landing point in 1 field(61.1%) and 5 field(25.9%) far more than other fields and the return of serve focusing in 2 field most total to 30.6%. As the same time, the percent of the two bottom line and mark lumbar as the simpact point is gradually increasing.2. In the third pat, the velocity of fetching balls of the five men’s double combination is accelerated, and the falling point is tricky with the gradually increasing control of the third beat. Thus, the effect of the third pat is still based on the balance of power, of which the percentage is 49.2%.3. In the offensive and defensive stage, the percentage for the smash and drive increases constantly along with the increase in shoot number, meanwhile the consciousness of controlling net in the midfield and proficient in coherence have become the characteristics of the men,s double.4. In the final score, besides smash the ball with a conventional, some techniques of flat drive fast block escalate, in the same time the feature of doubles and double pressing,which continuously integrate into the skill of fighting defensing smash and mifoakaing approach shot, becomes gradually apparent.
