New curriculum reform requirements to improve students’ scientific literacy, must pay attention to cultivate the students’ knowledge construction, let the students master the methods and way to acquire knowledge, to really improve the students’ scientific literacy. Concept map is used to organize and characterization tools of knowledge. Knowledge can be highly concentrated, help students deepen the understanding of knowledge, to reveal the essence of the meaning construction learning, as an important tool to promote meaningful learning, a concept map in the study of teaching strategies and learning strategy occupies an important position.In order to promote the chemistry new curriculum reform, enriching the content of junior middle school chemistry teaching, and promote students’ knowledge construction, this study will be introduced to the concept of chemical classroom teaching, the use of chemical knowledge construction of concept map to promote junior high school students. Paper includes five parts:(1) Introduction. Mainly include this topic in the research background, research significance, and the main problems and the content of this study.(2) Theoretical review. To overview of concept map, first analyzes the concept of establishment and meaning of concept map teaching, the last on the basis of constructivism concept of knowledge, discusses the concept map is an effective tool for promoting knowledge construction.(3) Teaching model to explore the chemical concept map to promote knowledge construction of junior high school students. From the teaching target, teaching program, the new teaching and the application of recitation and teaching evaluation.(4) Empirical study of chemical concept map to promote junior middle school students’ knowledge construction. Combined with junior high school chemistry composition of the material mysteries recitation investigating the concept map to promote students’ knowledge construction. Data show that chemical concept map is helpful to promote students’ knowledge construction, to a certain extent, can improve students score in chemistry.(5) Conclusion and reflection. Including the conclusion of this study, the problems and the direction of efforts.
