Controlling pollution from the source, green chemistry is clean, high-end and in harmony with nature. Continuous development calls for green chemistry, which is the topic and direction of chemistry to develop in the new century. The countries of the world are carrying out the research of green chemistry and pay more attention to the development and education of it. Chemistry is a subject based on experiments and it is an elementary time for high school students who form good behaviors in this key period. At this stage, developing green chemistry education is more helpful to form green awareness. In senior high school, while experiments are being done, various pollutants are sent out without being taken any measures, which does great harm to environment. Therefore, it is quite important to bring in green chemistry and make some researches when teaching chemistry, especially in the chemical experiments.This research paper discusses the background and significance of the non-pollution chemistry experiments in senior high school. On the basis of this, this paper sketches out the ‘green chemistry’ and illustrates the research contents and basic principles of the ‘green chemistry’ and ‘senior high school’s non-pollution chemistry experiments’, which provides necessary theoretical basis for the green experiments research. In order to know the awareness and implementation of the green chemistry, the author conducted a questionnaire survey of some teachers and students form four regular high schools of Hebei province. After collecting the results of the survey, the author analyzed the results. According to the new PEP edition of high school chemistry, the author estimated the kinds and quantities of potential pollutants in all three-grade experiments and pointed out the deficiencies of the new edition about green chemistry. What’s more, in the light of the contents and principles of green chemistry experiments, this research enumerated a number of methods to perfect the experiments and put forward some relevant and concrete measures, such as reinforcing the teachers’ green awareness, improving the experimental design greenly, specifying the students’ experimental operation, making use of the computer to aid experimental teaching, carrying out microscale experiments, dealing with the waste greenly, launching green extracurricular activities to permeate the ideas of green experiment and so on.
