Continuous development calls for Green Chemistry which belongs to scientificdevelopment of modern chemistry. The newly-formulated chemistry standard of highschool attaches importance to the formation and application of Green Chemistry.Green Chemistry experiments (namely non-pollution chemistry experiments) are therequirement of social development; the demand of students'healthy development bothphysically and psychologically; the need of carrying out environment education as wellas comprehending the tendency of modern chemistry. This research paper discusses themeanings, principles and possibilities of non-pollution chemistry experiments on thebasis of its significance. According to the new chemistry teaching materials of highschool, the writer studies the black threat in current chemistry experiments, estimates thekinds and quantities of potential pollutants in all three-grade experiments and introducesthe toxic effects of several pollutants. Meanwhile, the writer designs major tactics andmeasurements in performing the non-pollution chemistry experiments in details such ashow to choose and use reactant and assisting reactants, how to decrease and handle thetoxic substances after experiments or even without discharging. The writer, on the otherhand, takes such things into account as how to recycle, regenerate and reuse the chemicalremains and also how to choose, design and improve the experimental instruments andequipments which are for experiments or against poisonous substances. This paper alsoprovides the writer's study on carrying out the non-pollution chemistry experiments. Itoffers the views that the connected regulations should be established and improved suchas teachers'training in standardized operations to fulfill the non-pollution chemistryexperiments.
