Research On The Citizenship Quality Of In Situ Urbanization

In recent years, along with the rapid development of urbanization and new urbanization, the level of China’s urbanization has improved continuously. The improved level of urbanization is not only due to the traditional road which named "move to town", but also from the road not migrate to the cities and locally to achieve urbanization,which called "in situ urbanization".This is a relatively new road of urbanization. However, the academia has made a more thorough study of the traditional urbanization road, but relatively few of the "in situ urbanization". So far, Studies of the "in situ urbanization" focused on the model of in situ urbanization development, achieve form, motivate mechanism, development effects and the research on future of in situ urbanization development. As for the study of citizenship in in situ urbanization, only involved the definition of in situ citizenship, the advantages and problems of in situ citizenship and the degree of in situ citizenship, there is still much research space. The study of citizenship quality in in situ urbanization can make up for the lack of research that exist to some extent.In this study, the main method is field research. In field research, the writer mainly use questionnaire to collect data. Of course, literature study is also used. This study takes the in situ urbanization as background, mainly research the citizenship quality in Laiwu Y community, which use the way "changing villages to city" to achieve local urbanization. This article is based on the citizenship quality index system to design questionnaires and makes a survey in Laiwu Y community. A total of 265 questionnaires are collected. Through statistical analysis of the questionnaires, we get the situation about the citizenship quality in Y community. In this article, we analyze the achievements and problems in the citizenship quality of Y community, and give some suggestions to improve the citizenship quality of Y community.Through research, we believe that the citizenship quality of Y community is not high, there’s a strong relationship with the implementation of local government in in situ urbanization, long-standing dual institutional structure between the city and the rural,as well as community residents themselves have barriers in adaptation, but look beyond the surface, these problems largely rooted in the road "in situ urbanization" itself. The low citizenship quality in in situ urbanization exposes the shortcomings and reveals the degree of realization of in situ urbanization-"semi-urbanization". In view of this, to promote the process of urbanization, we should pay attention to reforming the household registration system, and trying to establish a sound social security system, while paying attention to changing the past inertia of thinking and breaking the previous system valve.
