At the beginning of this century, China promulgated the "full-time ordinary high school curriculum plan(the revised draft)", started the new curriculum reform. The new curriculum’s basic goal is "promote the development of students", emphasis on students’ participation, and according to the students with different interests, abilities and hobbies and future career needs, active participation by encouraging students, committed to the development of students’ mathematics sense, symbol sense, the concepts of space and statistics, application consciousness and reasoning ability, cultivation students’ realistic attitude to learning and exploring the spirit of innovation. In the teaching of high school mathematics, the maximum and minimum value problems have almost occupied "half" status of college entrance examination, it has become the important content of high school mathematics. However, the maximum and minimum value problems is often linked together with other mathematical knowledge, and teaching material is written according to the knowledge block form, such as function, geometry, the maximum and minimum value problems is distributed to the various "corner", everywhere. So in the maximum and minimum value problems teaching, the biggest problem is the scattered content, the numerous and complex methods, brings great difficulties for the students to solve. How to take these scattered knowledge and messy method together effectively, make a system, take the students quickly identify and correct thought method of solving problems, become the common concerned problem of mathematics teachers.Firstly, through the literature review of the way to introduce the new curriculum standard idea and the teaching research to the maximum and minimum value problems of domestic and foreign, expounded the theory foundation and psychology foundation. Analysis of the current high school mathematics curriculum in the maximum and minimum value problems teaching from the teaching present situation, the value of high school math problems in teaching materials distribution, students learning. Through questionnaires and test papers, the research and investigation of different grades and types of sample analysis of class, teacher understanding of the new curriculum reform, teachers and attitudes to the maximum and minimum value problems of high school math problem attitude, students’ awareness and interest. Discuss the problems which focus on high school mathematics curriculum in the maximum and minimum value problems teaching strategy, proposed to change the concept of teaching and improve the mathematics quality; multi dimension understanding the most value problem, will be the most value associated with other mathematical knowledge; combined with the maximum and minimum value problems, many ways to stimulate students interest in learning; melting the ideas and methods of emphasis on mathematics, culture and the development of students’ thinking ability.In the course of the experiment, the author makes full use of the concept of the new curriculum teaching practice, carefully study, serious reflection, on how to carry out the maximum and minimum value problems of teaching, teaching from the teaching content, idea, put forward the suggestion of teaching methods, and on this basis puts forward development under the new curriculum idea the maximum and minimum value problems of teaching strategies.Finally, the author puts forward suggestions on the practical teaching of the maximum and minimum value problems. In teaching, to place the maximum and minimum value problems with the practical combination could better motivate students interest in learning, enhance students’ analysis ability and thinking ability, can improve the ability of students, deeply feel the role of mathematics in practice; teachers should pay attention to strengthen the infiltration of mathematical thought and method in the maximum and minimum value problems teaching, solutions to the problems to provide a variety of ideas for students.
