The Area technical colleges in the United States Madison is a successful example of Wisconsin American community college education, many concepts and methods of the curriculum are worthy of our study. Successful experience of Madison Institute of technology in the curriculum, has the important theory significance and the practical significance. This research mainly uses the literature analysis method, case study method, survey research method, analysis method and theoretical research, combined with the education theory of Madison Area technical college courses in the curriculum goal, curriculum development and content, curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation and other aspects of comprehensive, systematic and in-depth study, analysis and summarizes the advantages, our community college on the basis of reflection on the problems in the curriculum, to get some beneficial enlightenment, in order to promote the establishment of our community college courses, so that the Community College Chinese curriculum system more scientific and reasonable. This research is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction, including the research object, content, purpose, significance and methods.The second part of the Madison Institute of technology history, characteristics and advantages are introduced briefly.In detail the theoretical basis, the third part of the main set of Madison Area technical college curriculum principles, characteristics, objectives, content, implementation, orientation, development, assessment and other aspects, summarizes and analyzes the advantages and characteristics of the Area Institute of technology Madison. The pragmatism, self-directed learning theory, the theory of lifelong education and lifelong learning based on the theory of combination set Madison Area technical college courses, follow the practical, the international community, diversity, the principle of teaching, flexible, pay attention to the application of educational technology, focus on core occupation skills, pay attention to the quality of curriculum characteristics. Madison Institute of technology to enhance learners’ professional skills and practical skills as the curriculum goal; in the course of development and the choice of content, to the actual needs of the market and learner oriented curriculum development team; in the implementation of curriculum, form a strong full-time and part-time teachers, advanced the complete set of modern education and flexible curriculum; curriculum evaluation system is more standardized and systematic in the course of evaluation process can effectively monitor and manage all aspects of the curriculum in the process.The fourth part mainly discusses the setting of our community college curricular setting Madison Area Technical College courses. Community colleges in our country because of the late start, development is not mature enough, there are many problems in the curriculum, such as curriculum ideas and principles exist on the evaluation of curriculum development, curriculum content is not scientific, not according to the need of market and community building process is not reasonable, the curriculum is not scientific. Learn from the successful experience and practices of Madison Area technical college curriculum, should do the following set of our community college courses: the establishment of curriculum objectives and orientation of science, the establishment of educational idea and principle of the scientific community college curriculum development; adjust the form and content, to build community and continuing professional development courses system to strengthen the construction of Community College; curriculum implementation, to ensure the effective curriculum evaluation system; the establishment of multidimensional comprehensive, protect the students’ learning effect.
