The transformation and development of local colleges and universities is an important strategic deployment in our nation's higher education.In 2015,the Education Department,National Development and Reform Commission and Financial Department brought up definite suggestions for the purpose of cultivating talents and position of school development in Guiding Principles which has important significance for accommodating the economic social transformation,serving local economic development,improving the quality of education,cultivating the practical talents.This paper mainly uses questionnaire survey method,literature method,interview method,mathematical statistics method,logic method etc.research method,to nine Jilin Province universities as the research object,setting goals,from the course content,structure,teaching materials,evaluation as the main research contents of sports courses in applied research institutes;perspective and thinking to the sports curriculum discussed setting.Recent years,the transformation of curriculum in universities is speeding up year after year,as well as the physical curriculum which is an important role in higher education.But the research on the PE curriculum development in the Application-oriented College.The author proposes guiding ideology “Health first” and “practical talents cultivation”according to guiding principles.In addition to the original educational ideas,transformation of education of PE curriculum should be deepen,and the cultivation of students' application ability and practice ability should be strengthen.The paper explores the developing ways to reform the PE curriculum setting in application-oriented local college from five aspects: objective,structure,contents,evaluation and textbook,builds up a new system and offers theory evidence for the transformation and development of PE curriculum in application-oriented college which is during the transitional period.This study is divided into the following five parts.The first part mainly expounds the issue of the research,the significance,literature review and research methods etc..The methods and objects of the research are confirmed in the second part.The third part takes9 local colleges and universities in Jilin Province as objects to research.The position ofcurriculum setting and the countermeasures of development are put forward in the fourth part according to the investigation and analysis.The last part is conclusion and suggestions.
