Research On The Situation Of Camping Activities In China

Camping activities come into people’s vision frequently as a new form of outdoor sportsin China. Camping and related industries recently attract more and more attention of thegovernment, business, academics and outdoor enthusiasts. Camping is included in thepopular outdoor sports. It is one of the salient features of outdoor sports. It is a fundamentalpart of outdoor sports. It is also an essential element of outdoor sports. It has typical outdoorfeatures in some regions. Camping festivals play more and more important roles in thecurrent camping activities in China. They have made important breakthroughs inparticipation scale, content arrangement, continuity, commercialization, and governmentsupport, which have promoted China’s outdoor sports industry, especially the campingindustry is more popular and more mature. Meanwhile, it has a positive contribution to ourcountry to promote the popularization of outdoor sports and diversification of mass sports.Camping festivals are typical representatives of the camping development in our country.They are outdoor activity forms with the characteristics of certain scale gatherings, which areindicative of the outdoor sports in a certain moment of development. In recent years, thedevelopment of camping festivals has greatly caused the industry insiders concern. Campingfestivals have developed nearly a decade, and official national scale camping festivals havebeen held for six years. However, speaking on the level of development, they are still newthings in china, and the name still sounds very fashionable.Through reading many materials, visiting many industry experts and scholars, andin-depth field investigating into some representative examples: National Camping Activity,China International Camping Congress, 8264 Camping Festival, I researched and analyzedthe situation of camping festivals, so as to give a tentative review of the organizationalfeatures of camping festivals. The camping festivals researched in this paper are examples ofoutdoor sports in current developing phase, combined with lifestyle and leisure. More itreflects the aggregate camping area in the initial design and development trend of the currentdepth. This form of opening up is a new space for development of the sports industry. Thispaper analyzes the characteristics, morphologies and elements of camping festivals,researches some problems and countermeasures, gives some advices, such as clearingcamping festivals’ position in outdoor sports, deepening campground construction, andbalancing camping festivals distributions, etc.
