| In 1995, Chinese Basketball Association began the competitive basketball professional reform,according to " Opinions about deepening the reform of sports " issued by former National Sports Commission, which also aimed at cooperating with FIBA Management Group(IMG). After 20 years, CBA has become one of the most valuable Chinese commercial leagues. Moreover, as the basic unit of professional basketball league, professional basketball club has entered a new stage. Sichuan Jinqiang professional basketball club was founded by Sichuan Jinqiang group in 2009, which is an independent legal entity. In September 2013 the club as the first branch in southwest China, Sichuan joined the CBA officially. In this study, we use literature reviews, interview surveys, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis, combined with sports training, sports economics theory to investigate and analysis the status of Sichuan Jinqiang professional basketball club. The analysis results are as follows:(1)Sichuan Jinqiang professional basketball club owned by Jinqiang group has the independent corporate capacity. Property right, management and control belong to the group. It is an advantageous to the club’s future development.(2)Club management mechanism is not flexible, and each department can not play its role. Short of management decentralization and less educated managers, have become an obstacle for normal operation. How to establish a rational management system has become an urgent problem for the club.(3)The club is in a good political, economic and cultural environment. And without other professional club competition the same area, it has a significant advantage. However, the club system has not been established yet, so enterprise social value and advertising effect are not remarkable.(4)Emphasis too much pay attention to the score, and focus on the introduction of foreign players, also ignore the training of the own country players. The result is lack of talent reserve, not to mention the score. Deficiency of reserve personnel training system and distrust between management and coach are the important issues existing currently.(5)Sichuan basketball club ignored the dominant role of the government, and don′t take the initiative to seek government policy and financial support. Although they want to make a career in basketball, But finally failed. |
