Modem information technology has profound effect in mathematics curriculum content that in term of mathematics teaching, mathematics learning. Our country 《Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard (2011 version)》 pointed out:"Put the modern information technology as a powerful tool in students’mathematics learning and solving problems, committed to change students’learning style, make the students happy and devotes more energy into realistic, exploratory mathematics activities."In the elementary school mathematics curriculum content, such as fractions, percentages, the understanding of geometry and how the area is derived etc, which is a good carrier to develop students’mathematical thinking? However, the content has always been the incurable diseases of traditional teaching as well, how to effectively solve these teaching difficulties have always been the elementary school mathematics teaching exploratory topic.The Geometer’s Sketchpad is a dynamic mathematics software, it means it in not only present in the teaching content, but also can be the telescope to observe the mathematics, the microscope to explore the mathematics. It is an " advanced weapon " to promote the effectiveness of the elementary school mathematics teaching.This research mainly launch from the following two aspects:theoretical research and practice research.In theoretical research, this study firstly summarizes the multiple representative learning concepts, the characteristics and functions of the geometry sketchpad software. Secondly this study summarizes four principles of optimized teaching:principles of package information, Space nearby principle, Time nearby principle and the consistency principle. According to the principles, this study tries to apply The Geometer’s Sketchpad to design some geometric sketchpad integral ware in the elementary school mathematics teaching.In practical research, this study uses " a fraction of" as an example, apply the geometric sketchpad integral were to assist the course teaching, try to explore the effectiveness of the geometric sketchpad integral ware assisting elementary school mathematics teaching, and hope to provide a certain practice reference in the elementary school mathematics teaching practice.
