Since the lifelong education was proposed in 1960s, it has rapidly developed all over the world. The main reason is the concept of lifelong education is in line with the law of the socio-economic and human development. Because of today’s technology and accelerating pace of technological innovation, the traditional vocational education and training is no longer able to meet the needs of society, as well as companies and our own improvement. UNESCO’s report "Education-Treasure is hide inside" wrote:the four pillars of education in the 21st century are learning to know, learning to do, learning to develop, and learning to live together. Therefore, the lifelong education has shown its importance. Lifelong education was first introduced into our country in the 1970s, and the first official use of the concept of lifelong education was in the "China Education Reform and Development Program" in 1993. With the development of lifelong education, it has a certain impact on various types of education in our country. At present, although China’s lifelong education has achieved certain development, and there are still some problems which we can not ignore. While under the influence of lifelong education is gradually developed in various countries.This article in the introduction part expounds the article generalizes the selected topic reason and the literature, the author thinks that vocational education lifelong development is an inevitable trend for the future development of vocational education.
