Establish the system of lifelong education in our country need to basic education,vocational education,higher education and adult education,and all kinds of education form of communication and mutual cohesion.The secondary vocational education and adult higher education cohesion development not only embodies the requirement of establishing lifelong education system,but also path to build and perfect the modern vocational education system.Through effective connection of secondary vocational and adult higher vocational education,build personnel training system from secondary vocational education to adult higher vocational education,make secondary vocational education students in different stages of development in a number of ways and flexibility to receive vocational education and training to meet all levels of education demand.This paper has made investigation and analysis of the status of the cohesion between secondary vocational education and adult higher vocational education from eight aspect,the enrollment and examination system,assessment,enters a higher school,training scheme,major setting,curriculum setting,teaching,training and the problems are as follow: Vocational education lacks attraction and students lack the awareness of Lifelong Learning Planning,enrollment system of restrictive,the disconnection between training objectives,professional repetition and rupture,professional courses repeated,teaching lack of targeted,the teacher force is not substantial.Through the analysis found that the cause of these problems has three level:The social reasons are influenced by traditional social ideas,lack of lifelong education concept and “ordinary high school fever” impact;The reasons for the government are lifelong education legislation and policy is not perfect,the government is not enough attention and financial investment is not enough and lack of management mechanism to ensure smooth convergence;The reasons for school are the concept of vocational school education is outdated,ignoring the importance of convergence work and lack of cohesion and motivation.To solve the above-mentioned problems,the government should lead the construction of lifelong education system and improve the status of Vocational Education,reform of management mechanism,establishing enrollment system in schooling cohesion,establishing entrance system in credits to connect,must provide legal protection and the government investment as the leading,increase the input of secondary vocational education.Secondary vocational schools and adult vocational colleges should achieve the goal of training from low-level to high-level convergence,establishing uniform professional assessment,coordination mechanism,establishing the course linking mechanism of modular teaching and improve the construction of teaching staff.For personal aspects,should establish the concept of vocational education and lifelong education,define their own learning subject position and do a good job in career development planning.
