Today’s society is a society filled with opportunities and challenges as well as fierce competition. The competition of national powers, the technological challenge as well as competition between talents are all affecting our education enterprise. Conducting frustration education on college students for them to cope with the increasingly fierce competition pressure in the society has increasingly become the problem our vast educators and scholars must face and solve.College students as the most powerful driving force in social progress shoulder the great historical mission and social responsibility. Today’s society is in the critical period of reform and development, which brings opportunities and challenges for colleges students but at the same time brings tremendous influence and impact to the college students’ ideology. Along with our country’s ever-increasing comprehensive national strength, unceasing enhancement of people’s material life level and increasement of the proportion of only children, many college students are in a relatively more comfortable or even superior environment. After entering university, they begin to study and live independently and will inevitably encounter setbacks and failures. Some college students often can not think calmly or actively seek methods and good ways to solve the problem after encountering setbacks, which in turn produces negative emotions. Frustration education is to let every student face the difficulties and setbacks on the road of studying, job seeking, working and living, actively overcome negative influences brought by setbacks, form certain anti-setback ability in order to adjust mentality well to open up a new world for life.The main task of this research is to study the frustration education of college students from the perspective of ideological and political education, combine ideological and political education and frustration education organically, explore the practical approach of anti-frustration ability cultivation of college students through the objective analysis of many problems in current practice of college students, aim to solve the practical problems of college students and integrate new content into ideological and political education. This thesis is mainly divided into four parts:The first part of the introduction to the problem of the research background, research significance, research status, research ideas and methods are summarized. The second part to the frustration of college students from the ideological and political education of the basic theory of education, the ideological and political education horizon research illustrates the value of the setback education and demonstration. The third part of college students because of setbacks and summary and analysis on the problems and causes. The fourth part grasp college students the basic principles of setback education, from a perspective of ideological and political education for the college student specific path of setback education.
