| The problem solving mode is the main mode in mathematics teaching. But in the actual teaching classes, teachers do not want to try teaching problem solving mode, concerning the traditional teaching concept deeply rooted, and the heavy teaching tasks. In my thesis, based on summaries of problem solving methods from the predecessors, some practical cases are provided, combined with real teaching experience and strategies of the first chapter of function, hoping to give some valuable suggestions to the colleagues. The first chapter describes the survey of problem solving teaching methods at home and abroad, and determine the problem, purpose, significance and methods used in this paper; the second chapter elaborates on the constructivism, multiple intelligence theory, which lay a good theoretical foundation for teaching research in this thesis to solve the problem of function; the third chapter will show the teaching experiments carried on to have a closer look at the usage of this mode based on the real teaching procedures. And through the analysis of questionnaire survey and mathematical examination, it is verified that this teaching mode is effective to solve mathematical problems in high school; in the fourth chapter there present some actual problems in the teaching and questionnaire survey. Some teaching suggestions are given for further research of the problem.Through the study it can be concluded that the problem solving teaching model in the function teaching in senior high school can help the students to improve their levels, take an active and major part in maths classes, cultivate their interest in learning mathematics and improve the ability of solving practical problems. Simultaniously, it will help teachers to effectivly adjust their teaching approaches. |
