The development of problem-solving ability is paid more and more attention at all stages of mathematics curriculum in our country,and the specific requirements are put forward in the“General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 edition)”,Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate students' problem-solving ability.After investigating the current situation of senior high school students' problem-solving ability,this thesis finds that students' problemsolving ability needs to be improved,and taking the function as the carrier to carry out the research on the teaching strategy of improving this ability.In order to understand the existing problems of students all-around and the effectiveness of teaching strategies,this thesis sets up the first two questions: First,what is the current situation of high school students' problem-solving ability? Second,what are the teaching strategies to improve students' problem-solving ability? And for further ensuring the effectiveness of teaching strategies to set up the third question: How can teaching strategies be improved? This study takes the high school mathematics function of the People's Education B edition as an example,and adopts the methods of “Questionnaire Survey”,“Classroom observation”,“Case study”,“Experiment” and “Interview” to study the above problems.First,this thesis gets the status quo of students' problem-solving ability and influencing factors by means of senior high school students' functional problem-solving ability questionnaire and classroom observation,it is found that emotional attitude,knowledge level and thinking level are the factors affecting students' problem-solving ability,on this basis,this paper puts forward five teaching strategies to improve senior high school students' problem-solving ability,they are focusing on activities and experience,setting operational problem situations,framing teaching process,problematic teaching content and procedural problem-solving,and verifies the effectiveness of the strategies through teaching experiments,and then improves and perfects the teaching strategies based on the interview results of students and teachers.The following conclusions are obtained through the research: First,the problem-solving ability of senior high school students is at the lower middle level;Second,the thesis puts forward teaching strategies to improve senior high school students' problem-solving ability from three aspects: emotion,knowledge and ability;Third,to improve and perfect teaching strategies from the aspects of assigning class period,training mathematical operation and setting up tasks.Based on the above conclusions,the study puts forward three suggestions: First,developing the ability to solve problems at all stages;Second,strengthening classroom coherence;Third,the cultivation of problem-solving ability is closely combined with the core literacy of mathematics.
