According to the guiding ideology of “ordinary high school language curriculum standard(experiment)” which is set by the ministry of education,Chinese curriculum of high school aims at giving students Chinese literacy,and providing bigger learning space for students’ different developing tendency. But the actual high school Chinese classical poetry teaching of the city of Ulanqab has abandoned the appreciation and pursuit for beauty,examination especially the university entrance exam score isregarded as the largest and most important goal. The present teaching situation is rigid,insipid and worrisome.Facing such situation, effective methods should be adopted to improve teaching effeciency. Situational teaching reflects the people-oriented thoughts,attaches importance to students’ s basic emotional needs as well as the unique emotional experience; its own characteristics caters to the aesthetic characteristics and the aesthetic effect of the classical poetry, can effectively arouse the enthusiasm and initiative of students to learn classical poetry,stimulate students’ love of classical poetry, Chinese teachers of hight school under the new educational reform ideas should pay more attention to situational teaching methods.This research bases on the analysis of the teaching requirement and present situation of classical poetry teaching in high school, combining years of teahing experiences of the author, summarizes some specific implemantation plan of the application of situational teaching methods in Chinese classical poetry teaching, in order to provide some teaching refrences for high school Chinese teachers.In the specific implemantation plan, this paper emphasizes two aspects based on specific cases and case analysis, the first aspect is fully mobilizing students’ learning initiative of classical poetry by situation inspiration, the second one is vigorously strengthening the students’ aesthetic experience through situation exploration. These two aspects have a progressive relationship, the first one is the introduction, the second one is the main goal.the first aspect focuses on situation lead-in, encourage learning through feeling, and experience life, in order to deep think to eliminate the gap between students and classical poetry, inspire their interest in learning classical poetry, to make them learning classcal poetry not because of the pressure of examination but because of the love towards classical poetry from heart, to lead them find the infinite charmof classical poetry. The second aspect mainly pays attention on how to guide students to appreciate the language beauty, poetc imagery beauty and emotional beauty, hope that through from the three aspects of attention really teach students to find beauty,pursuit of beauty, and the most important thing is create beauty.The research of the application of situational teaching methods inordinary high school Chinese classical poetry teaching has vital practical significance in improving the high school Chinese classical poetry teaching effect. Hope this research could initiate some thinking of some educators,contribute to promote students’ integrated improvement and improve the rapid development of quality education and gradual step-down of the new curriculum reform.
