Psychological resilience is the individual trait of achieving the equilibrium of physical and mental state, as well as favorable adaptation when suffering adversities and stress events. High school students are in the stage of hurricane in their lifetime, the imbalance of swiftly maturing physiology and immature psychology, giving rise to behavior obstruction and mental issues, would fail to hinder their healthy maladaptation of their learning and living. Nevertheless, studies have shown that scarcely all the students perform apparently unhealthy mentality and conduct outrageous behavior, and psychological resilience might play a of significance role. Not only could psychological resilience reintegrate equilibrium of the individual from severe traumatic events or chronic pressure events, but also contribute to the balance of psychological state who are reluctant to encounter disruptions or negative stress. Grounded on it, the study is intended to find out the essential situation of resilience of students from high school and influencing mechanism of resilience, as well as develop psychological resilience handbook for providing theoretical foundation and empirical support of both their sound development of body and mind,and mental health education.The study’s basic idea is:Firstly, putting forward the basic thoughts after analysis and summary of literature review and comb; Secondly, on the basis of the open-ended questionnaire and semi-structured interviews, Psychological Resilience Scale for High School Students, whose reliabilities and validities are tested, is developed; Thirdly, Psychological resilience characteristics of high school students are analyzed via questionnaire survey, and the influence of demographic variables towards resilience classification is probed through Multinomial Logistic Regression analysis; Fourthly, Part confirmation about resilience’s functional mechanism by means of the relationship research of personality, resilience, depression and suicidal ideation, and of financial difficulty, parent support, resilience and maladjustment; Fifthly, on account of research-based psycho consultation pattern, formulating group counseling program by employing resilience dimensionality to enhance high school students’resilience. Findings are as follows:Psychological Resilience Scale for High School Students is composed of target control, problem-solving, self-efficacy, social interaction and optimism, whose reliabilities and validities are accord with the standard of psychometrics; (2) The resilience level of high school students is above average, and their gender, nationality, grade, place of domicile, whether or not boarding school, whether or not to be left-home children, impact on the classification of resilience; (3) Resilience plays a moderator role among the relationship of personality, depression and suicidal ideation; (4) Resilience and parent support have multiple mediation effect between financial difficulty and maladaptation; (5) Their promotion of resilience through the implementation of group counseling program towards high school students that grounded on the research-based psycho consultation pattern is significant.
