In the art teaching, traditional Chinese painting teaching has clear asymmetry in Zhuji middle-kindergarten training school and Zhuji kindergarten. In preschool normal school, traditional Chinese painting teaching being taken seriously, the proportion is up to 18%, but in kindergarten, traditional Chinese painting class does not go smoothly for various reasons, and the proportion in the public kindergarten even reaches 0%. It shall be considered as regret to the heritage of traditional Chinese fine art. Thus, this paper has interviewed Zhuji middle-kindergarten training school and Zhuji kindergarten to find out the reason of asymmetry in traditional Chinese painting teaching. The most important is that teaching kindergarten painting does not reflect the characteristics of early childhood art education and it does not meet the principles either, although there are many other reasons. In fact, Kindergarten has accumulated a wealth of successful experience in the traditional Chinese painting teaching before year 2010. However, which is ignored by the traditional Chinese painting teaching for the kindergarten teachers. This paper will come up with a number of the principles in the reform and suggestions. The purpose is to make the traditional Chinese painting class for kindergarten teachers closer to the actual needs of early childhood education, and make full use of its unique advantage. This paper argues that traditional Chinese Painting teaching in kindergarten is not only possible but also necessary, because there is a strong internal relation between children painting and traditional Chinese painting.
