The Analysis Of The Development And Reform Path Of The College Entrance Examination System In China

The examination system has greatly been concerned as a way of selecting talents. Since its establishment, development and reform has been accompanied by the existing examination system. Most systems have been unceasingly consummated in the course of development and reform, so do the examination system. The college entrance examination is an important topic, not just for our country but for the world. The unified national college enrollment system was established in 1952 in China, abolished in 1965, and then resumed in 1977. The resumption of college entrance examination not only changed the destiny of Chinese people, but also saved the whole China. Since its establishment, the college entrance examination system has caught more and more people’s attention and there are various opinions on it; the voice of condemnations is also growing. Early stage, it had experienced a long process of turns and twists. Both the inherent problems and complex external factors of education have a profound effect on our examination system. In 1977, the resumption of college entrance examination is a historic turning point of China. But the current college entrance examination system still exist many problems and controversies. In the development process of the college entrance examination system, these problems and disputes still need us to explore and solve. Nowadays, the college entrance examination reform and how to reform have become a common concern of the world. The college entrance examination system varies in different countries; there exist both the similarities and differences. Find out the differences and discover the advantages of foreign college entrance examination system are necessary to the reform of the college entrance examination system in China. Since the reform and opening, basically, our country adapts to the unified examination system, but there exist a series of reform of the examination system, such as the examination mode.Based on the development process of China’s college entrance examination system and the problems of the college entrance examination system is facing now, an then, through the analysis of differences between domestic and foreign college entrance examination system, this paper studied and analyzed the current college entrance examination system and the reform path and trend of this system. Besides the introduction, the main content of this paper consists of two parts, the first part includes the first chapter to the third chapter and it taken the year 1977 as the dividing line, studied and analyzed the development process of the college entrance examination system in China before and after the resumption of college entrance examination, through the questionnaire survey research the present situation of our college entrance examination enrollment. And then compared and analyzed the domestic and foreign college entrance examination system in order to get inspiration. The second part includes the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter, this part based on the existing problem and the fairness of the existence of college entrance examination system in our country, to explore the reform path of our college entrance examination system reform and development. Through the research and analysis, this study suggests that the reform path of entrance examination system has some aspects, such as the reform of enrollment planning system and reform of the examination pattern and so on, and discusses the college entrance examination system can be reformed in the direction of legalization and diversification, in order to make the system of college entrance examination in China developed to be professional, scientific, democratic and international.
