The study selected four kindergartens’ 707 infants in Wuhan Urban of 2013 as the object of Physical Fitness Test by the way of random sampling, and their caregivers as questionnaire object. After used the methods of literature, questionnaires, interviews, comparative law, mathematical statistics to study infants’ physical situation and reveal infants’ physical constitution variation of different gender and age groups, investigated the sports and nutritional factors which have impact on infants’ physical health. And used the experiment method to study physical health intervention’s effect on infants via implementing intervention on Wuhan Silver Lake Emerald kindergarten’s Intermediate Class’s students and their caregivers, through which to provide theoretical basis for enriching infants’ physical health experimental research in Hubei Province on one way, and on the other way to make a foundation of physical education in kindergarten and provide a theoretical basis for improving the physical health of infants. The research results are as follows:1.The 3-6 years old infants’ physical evaluation ranking in Wuhan urban of 2013 has a most typically feature of Uni-modal,that’s the pass level is in the highest point, both the male and female infants reach 57%,then the good level, and the excellent level is in the lowest point of graph, both are less then 8%.2.1n the body shape, there is 17 and 4.9 percentage male and female infants are in the status of the obese,14 and 12.1 percentage are in overweight status respectively. The Wuhan Urban infants’ Chest index is between 2005 and 2010 average value in Hubei Province, Chest Circumference index is significantly lower, and the skin-fold thickness is significantly higher than the same age and same gender children in 2005 and 2010 years in Hubei province. The infants’ Weight, Quetelet index and BMI index in Hubei Province shows a gradual upward trend from 2005 to 2013.3.Physical aspects, the infants’ standing long jump, tennis throw far, ten meters running feet, continuous jump and balance beam walking index are increase with age, but the sit and reach index is opposite. The urban 3-6 years old male infants and 3-4 years old female infants’tennis throw far, and 3-5 years old male infants’sit and reach index are significantly lower than Hubei province’s infants in 2005 and 2010,but 4 years old male infants and 5 years old infants’standing long jump index are significantly higher than that, and all aged infants’ ten meters running feet index too(p<0.05),others have no significant differences.About the balance beam walking index all other infants are significantly lower than Hubei province’s infants in 2005 and 2010 in addition to 6 years old infants and 5 years old female infants.4.About bodily functions, the 2013 Wuhan Urban 3-6 years old infants’ resting heart rate, the female infants’ is higher than the male.Compared with infants in 2005 and 2010 year, the urban infants’resting heart rate is significantly lower, but all in normal range.5.More than 90% infants’ caregivers are lack of correct awareness of exercise time, intensity and frequency, and lack of understanding of the knowledge of nutrition and health. The rate of infants’ caregivers who hold a positive attitude towards infants’ participation in physical exercise is beyond 95%, and close to 90% of the caregivers have a higher degree of infants’ adequate nutrition. But only 13.3% of the caregivers often pay attention to sports related knowledge or regularly participate in physical exercise, and the rate they often take the infants together to participate in the exercise is less than 25%.6.The experimental group and the control group infants’ body shape index shows no significant difference before and after the experiment intervention, and the experimental group’s skin-fold thickness shows a downward trend, falling in the range of 0.1-0.3mm, while the control group’s shows a rising trend, in the range of 0-0.4mm.The two groups’ infants’tennis throw far, ten meters running feet, continuous jump and standing long jump index show a significant difference (p<0.05), and the experimental group’s balance beam walking scores increases 3.2s, the control group increases only 0.8s after the experiment intervention, and two groups’ sit and reach index both decline by 0.9cm.The research conclusions are as follows:1.In the body shape,2013 Wuhan urban infants’ thickness of subcutaneous fat is increasing, and the absolute and relative value of weight are growing higher, to the obesity trend.Their thorax growing bad, and they have less stout body compared with infants in 2005 and 2010 year, but shows more slender exhibit features.2.Physical aspects, the infants’ upper and lower extremities power, speed and agility qualities, physical coordination and balance qualities are improving with age growing, and most of the qualities of the male infants are more excellent than the female. Overall, upper body strength, flexibility, quality and balance qualities are poor quality of urban infants.3.The infants’ caregivers’sports and nutrition-related knowledge are relatively lack, most caregivers have high recognition about exercise and high attention to infants’ nutritional diet quality, but significantly less reflect on their behavior, especially the behavior of passive sport, which make them can not play a positive role to drive and guide the infants to participate in physical exercise. All these factors will affect the development of infants’ physical health in different degrees.4.The experiment result shows that 16-week physical health intervention has no significant effect on improving infants’ body shape although, but to a certain extent, can help to inhibit localized fat deposits, especially on the accumulation of the arm, shoulder and abdominal fat Ministry; it has significantly positive meaning for improving infants’ upper and lower limb explosive power and jumping ability, speed and agility physical fitness and to their balance ability, the intervention has a improved trend, but on improving the quality of flexibility it’s ineffective.
