Objective:In recent years, pupils’ physical health is not optimistic, the study aims to explorehow to better stimulate students interest in sports, have a good physical education anddevelop good eating habits through exercise and nutrition intervention pilot study. Italso explores the impact of intervention on pupils’ physical development andimprovement of self physical exercise and nutrition behavior. To provide a scientificbasis for drawing up a plan on improving pupils’ physical health.Methods:On the basis of the study by a survey of Xuzhou students physical testing andprimary school students, parents, PE teachers to understand the the students physicalstatus and impact factors, the development of targeted sports nutrition interventionprogram. Select Xuzhou urban primary schools in grades three, five, eight classes asexperimental subjects, natural class is divided into the experimental classes and controlclasses, students and parents of the experimental class two-month campaign, Nutritionintervention. Intervene in the process to three times a week physical educationintervention, each end of the intervention, issuing nutrition promotional materials,control classes in accordance with the normal teaching programs, diet, physical fitnesstest subjects before and after the intervention and parents of the survey.Results:(1) The morphological development of urban and rural pupils is good, the gradualimprovement of physical function and quality indicators to be room for improvement,but also larger. The level of morphological development of urban students, vitalcapacity levels significantly higher than the overall functioning of the township,township students and the quality level is higher than the city, and performance in thevital capacity/body mass index, speed, lower limb explosive power and flexibility of ahigher quality than in urban areas.(2) The urban pupils of exercise attitude, behavior, and sit-ins, sleep situationsignificantly better than the township students; low-grade sports attitude, sit-in behavior and sleep situation significantly better in the higher grades, but high-grade exercisebehavior significantly with higher than low grade; boys sports by participating behaviorthan girls significantly positive, the girls sit, sleep significantly better than boys.(3) The urban pupils breakfast, snack behavior and drinking choice of good in thetownship students; the lower grades nutritional attitudes, behaviors better than highgrade; girls breakfast, snacks behavior, as well as drinking water choose behavior thanboys.(4) The urban parents sports cognitive participation behavior significantly betterthan the township parents, family, sports equipment ownership and collective activitiesto carry out rate was significantly higher than the township; urban parents than the thetownship parents’ nutritional knowledge awareness, positive nutritional behavior;educational level parents sports, nutrition, cognitive and behavioral basic to actively andpositively correlated.(5) Urban and rural school physical education emphasis is generally not high, thecity school on time to carry out physical education, sports activities, significantly betterthan the township; general scarcity of venues and facilities, especially in rural schools;teachers physical education organization relative mechanical, monotonous.(6) The height, weight, BMI change of experimental class fifth-grade student’s wassignificantly higher than the control class; experimental class students lung capacity,vital capacity/body mass index, and physical fitness changes were significantly higherthan the control class, urban third grade experimental class FVC grip strength and50meters x8race results improve significantly higher than the township.(7) The sports exercise, attitude, physical education experience to expand physicaleducation skills, extracurricular exercise time, sit-behavior experimental students wassignificantly improved compared to the control; intervention group behavior of studentsbreakfast, snacks behavior significantly improved drinking water choose differences notsignificant.(8) The intervention group support for parents of children physical exercisesignificantly increased knowledge of nutrition awareness and nutrition behaviormotivated classes improved significantly compared to the control.Conclusions:(1) Xuzhou students overall level higher than the national constitution (2010), but compared to the previous survey, suggesting that overweight children increased,performance, quality level needed to improve overall fitness levels than rural studentsthe city is high.(2) Students, parents, sports and nutrition cognitive, behavioral and school sport andphysical education teachers physical education emphasis organizations and venuesequipped with equipment and facilities directly affect the physical health of students.(3) The fun games or contests in the form of physical education for students training tostimulate interest in improving sports participation behavior, improve their physicalfitness level has a positive role in promoting.(4) Nutrition education and nutrition services for real students and parents to improvethe nutritional knowledge, correct poor eating habits, develop a scientific dietarybehavior has a positive effect.
