Purposes : The kinetic and Dynamic gait characteristics were researched in functional ankle instability group(FAI group) and control group, to explore the biomechanical characteristics of functional ankle instability gait in order to provide the basis for both theoretical and experimental with the prevention of ankle injury. Methods : With Zebris FDM-T gait analysis system, the biomechanical characteristics were collected in FAI group(15 subjects) and control group(16 samples) under the most comfortable walking(slow, medium, fast) and running(slow, medium, fast).Results:(1)In the slow running test, the stance phase of FAI group are more significant(P <0.05)than control group;(2)In the slow running test, the percentage accounted for gait cycle of max heel force(lateral) in FAI group was less than the control group(P <0.05);(3)Standard deviation for step length in fast walking test, FAI group was less than the control group(P <0.05);(4)Step length、stride length、swing phase with walking and running speed(slow, medium, fast)increased.(5)Support phase with walking and running speed(slow, medium, fast)decline, there are significant differences compared to two two(slow, medium, fast)(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)The functional ankle instability of the percentage accounted for gait cycle of max heel force in advance(2)The functional ankle instability of the stance phase(lateral instability)delay.
