In order to not only boost students’ confidence and interest, but also cultivate abilities of analyzing and solving problems in the process of learning.Research object are Grade Seven students of Foreign Language School of Changzhou,with mothod of documents and materials,method of expert interviews,mothod of questionnaire surveys,method of mathematical statistics and experimental studies.Mainly researching the influences and effects that self-check type teaching method exerts on teachers,students and special qualities of basketball in both physical and technical as well as interest of learning Physical Education classes.This can be taken as a reference for the revolution of our country’s basketball teaching methods and further improvement of teaching theories as well as practices.In order to improve basketball teaching qualities of middle schools,self-check type teaching method must be further progressed and enriched.The results show that:(1) Self-check type can promote the development of junior school student physical quality.
