A good teacher-student relationship is the foundation of school education and teaching. In rural boarding primary schools, due to the lack of family education,left-behind children are difficult to get care and guidance they deserved in life, emotion and study. Therefore, this study attempts to replace parents with teachers to establish a new type of teacher-student relationship,to effectively make up for the absence of parents in children's growth, thus promoting the healthy development of children's body and mind.Based on the particularity of rural boarding primary education, this study uses the narrative research method, which takes its own practical teaching and class management experience as research resources, and tries to construct the teacher-student relationship suitable for rural boarding primary school teachers from the perspective of "In Iocoparentis" of teachers by Van Manen.Due to the lack of growth support from the family for a long time,left-behind children in rural areas are in a state of "wild growth" : they lack a sense of belonging and security in emotion;a sense of disorder in life. There are also many difficulties in study. The causes of these problems are as follows: the absence and insufficiency of parental companionship can't supervise and guide children effectively;the frequent flow of teachers in school is not conducive to the establishment of a good teacher-student relationship;the society has been seriously entertained, which has a negative impact on children. These provide a practical basis for the construction of the teacher-student relationship of "In Iocoparentis" type. The author first uses "simple love" to change the adverse situation of children's growth, trying to shorten the distance with children and paying attention to their emotional needs and the formation of their habits, but also trying to stimulate their interest in learning. While the initial progress have been achieved, the underlying problems remain unsolved. Then the author tries again to apply the theory of “In Iocoparentis” to developing teacher-student relationships in rural boarding primary school.By constructing the home teachers and students have together, creating a warm home atmosphere and promoting harmonious family culture, students become more positive and healthy, thus improving teachers' well-being,so do the teacher-student relationship and the parent-child relationship. The reason why teachers' "In Iocoparentis" teacher-student relationship has achieved remarkable progress in rural boarding primary schools is that teachers are "the same as parents' everywhere","wider than all parents' fairness" and "deeper than parents' professional care".During this process, teachers should not only have the same simple love as parents, but also learn more professional care than parents,so as to give students the hope of continuous education. In other words,to be a teacher also means being a "mother",who keeps learning the way of both being a teacher and a "mother",promoting the mutual growth of teachers and students.
