The Application Study Of Growing Group Mode In Buliding The Well Parent-kid Relationship

The parent-kid relationship is one of the important inter-relationships in our life. The key period for building a well parent-kid relationship is the initial stage of school age. The parents of kids in the initial stage of school age, mostly born in and after 1980, grew up under a kind of particular environment, and they deeply realize the importance of developing parent-kid relationship. Those parents lack of communication skill and time with their kids, and they want to build a well parent-kid relationship, however, their strength is not equal to the will. It was caused by their growing experience and daily busy work. Thus, it is urgent and essential to enhance the parent-kid relationship through application of growing group.The experimental troupe project of the parent-kid picture book activity——Mammy and Doll, founded by Organization of Regulate Family, is one of the successful bid projects in the First Suzhou Min Venture Philanthropy of Women’s Federation. Based on the project,a growing group is built for this study, which is also regarded as the study’s object. We adopt the method of “interviewing”, “scaling”, and “observation” to make a survey of the current situation and optimization demand on parent-kid relationship. Considering the characteristics of the objects, we also design and carry out many activities for parents and kids like,“listening to the drama”, “reading the picture book”, “making the stage properties”, as well as “arrangement and play of drama”. We would like to actively provide these services for the objects, such as broaden contents of picture book reading, help them mastering the strategy of reading together, cultivate a good reading habit for kids, improve the parent-kid communicating skill for parents, and finally realize a harmonious parent-kid relationship.The last part of this paper makes a conclusion of growing group’s unique advantages in optimizing the parent-kid relationship. In the aspect of service target, the growing groupresponds effectively to parent-kid relationship optimization demand for those parents. As for the service content, it provides more communication opportunities and platforms for both the parents and kids. In terms of the service result, the growing group makes people realize what the problem is and rethink profoundly from many aspects like thought,affection as well as behavior, so as to enable them to get experience of growing up and improve the development of parent-kid relationship.
