The purpose of this study is to explore the curriculum design and competences included of “Drama in picture book” in primary school from the perspective of key competences.The study focused on the 27 students recommended by the teachers of all grades in the “Drama in picture book ”class of a rural primary school in zhangzhou.This study uses an action research method,and collected data through methods of collection of literature,questionnaire survey method and observation method,etc.The study explores a concept of “Drama in picture book”,the characteristic of this activity,the law of role-playing,the relationship between “Drama in picture book” and key competences.This paper discusses the curriculum design of “Drama in picture book ”in primary school,the application of drama skills,the competences embodied in the “Drama in picture book ”,and offered analysis and suggestions.In the part of the research results,the researchers analyzed in detail the learning effects of students after the implementation of the “Drama in picture book ”and reflected on the curriculum design.“Drama in picture book ”can promote the improvement of humanism detail?scientific spirit?learning to learn?healthy living?responsibility for responsibility?practice innovation and so on.It can promote teachers' understanding of key competences,but there is also lack of professional guidance for educational drama teachers.“Drama in picture book ” activities should be improved from the aspects of teaching design,teaching process,teaching evaluation and so on.The teaching activities of “Drama in picture book ”need to be supported by many aspects,such as administrative support,school support and professional teacher support.The course design also needs to present the systematic curriculum system of different grades.
