The New Relationship Of Youth Subculture And Mainstream Culture

Subculture is a concept opposed to "mainstream culture". In the past, the concept of subculture is considered to be unconventional, non-mainstream. But today is an age of unprecedented integration of global culture, it is obvious to us all that subculture is on the rise. In this paper I ll study the anime of The Legend of Qin and the various subculture generated by it, I believe my study will provide us a new perspective on the new relationship between subculture and the mainstream culture. In the course of my writing,I consulted a lot of theories such as narrative, postmodernism. My analysis will be divided into three aspects the phenomenon of the various subculture generated by The Legend of Qin the subversion of subculture to mainstream culture and the conversion of subculture to mainstream culture. After the end of the three-part analysis, I come up with my own point of view. I believe the relationship between subculture and mainstream culture today has three new features Both relies on new media Based on mutually beneficial cooperation in consumer relations and Subculture initiative closer to mainstream culture.
