Study On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Political Belief In Independent College

Universities are now under pressure of social reform while they are participating the ideological frontier and social life.In China there are more the 300 independent colleges, each of them constitute an important part of university system. Much more attention should be attracted to the independent college students’ political belief. This Article focus on Yangtze University technology Engineering College which is an independent college lies in central Hubei province. Purposes of the article are analyzing the characteristics, problems of political beliefs of independent college students and find reasonable methods to resolve those issues. Personal advices to cultivate political beliefs are given in the article.The first chapter is the introduction. This part describes significance, and values of the topics, defining the perspective. The content includes situations of political beliefs, issues on cultivation of student’s political beliefs. This part also presents comments and generalization on the domestic and foreign research on this topic. Methods of study are introduced in this chapter.The second chapter is the significance of independent college students’ political belief cultivation. Political belief cultivation has important significance for college students, independent college and nation. For college students, political quality is the important content of the quality of citizens, political belief cultivation is the need of students’ development; The independent college, as an important force of higher education, should conform to the socialist school policy, the cultivation of College Students’ political belief is the duty of Independent Institute; As to society, political belief matters of social stability, political belief education is very important to the government and the party.Third chapter is the current situation of College Students’ political belief chapter of Yangtze University College of Engineering technology. Through the questionnaire survey, this part introducing independent college students’ political belief from three aspects which are cognitive status, political behavior, and political identity participation status. On this basis, combining the investigation and other literature, the paper summarized the independent college students characteristics and trends of political belief of individual differences introduced by the college students’situation., The conclusion is that college students’ political belief in independent colleges is not optimistic, the independent college students’political theory quality is declining, political belief is diverse and indifferent.The fourth chapter is the factors that influence independent college students’ political belief college. First of all, the diversification of western social thought’s and complex domestic social environment impact College Students’ political belief. Secondly, the Independent College Ideological and political theory courses and lectures restrict education of political belief education in independent college.
