| In the current context of information technology in education, the use of computer-aided software to assist teaching has become an important part of modern educational technology. In high school physics learning process, due to the effect of teaching conditions, each physical law in physical experiment was demonstrated by the object exhibition. and the experimental data processing is complex. Using modern education technology can make more abstract physical law of perfection.By reading the literature to understand the current research, the use of MATLAB software with powerful graphics and computing capabilities can be a lot of abstract concepts of physics and physical experiments. Application of MATLAB can enable the students to understand the physics problem solving by computers, it brings convenience and pleasure which will stimulate students in learning, so in order to strengthen the students to the basic physical concept, method and application of physics knowledge in terms of understanding are to free the students from the heavy calculation. It is a very good solution to introduce MATLAB into physics teaching.Therefore, to determine the direction of research and practical application, MATLAB electrostatic field in high school physics teaching was proposed.
