Construct modern vocational education system of China’s socialist economy development has a special significance, goal of China’s current and future development of vocational education, secondary vocational education and higher vocational education engagement is an important part of it, and the cohesion of curriculum is the key and core. But for a long time, China’s secondary vocational education and higher vocational education in the interface has many problems. The more prominent problem is unreasonable setting of the course and the organization, resulting in serious waste of resources, long-term view is not conducive to the healthy development of Vocational Education in our country, but also not conducive to modern vocational education system construction and development. Whether the curriculum of secondary vocational education and higher vocational education is effective or not is the key to restrict the healthy development of Vocational Education in China. The curriculum is the medium to realize the education target, the design reasonable curriculum for the education goal realization is important. However, from a macroscopic point of view of the overall, our country did not make clear requirements and provisions of this, and each of the local administrative department of education nor of higher vocational courses cohesion to make clear requirements and regulations, various vocational schools in their teaching practice nor a good solution to this problem.First of all, this paper through the literature in-depth understanding of the current domestic and foreign about the connection between secondary and higher vocational education and secondary vocational education and higher vocational education curriculum articulation status and achievements of the research, indicates the direction of the research. At the same time, carefully read and understand the lifelong education theory, Bruner’s structural curriculum theory and CBE theory provides a theoretical basis for this study; secondly, through the actual situation of the survey, a detailed understanding of the current higher vocational curriculum articulation found cultivate professional personnel for high similarity, course content repetition phenomenon in general, and so on. On the basis of and the research on connection between secondary and higher vocational education appeared problems include: policy level on the absence of top-level design; vocational schools generally Shun and strife; professional settings appear fragmented, course arrangement lack of development philosophy and curriculum standard, it presents the harmony in diversity. Third, this study from the curriculum theory perspective, combing the connection of secondary and higher vocational education professionals training goals, talent training standards and professional course structure, and, taking the major of hotel management as an example illustrates the process and the solution of the connection of secondary and higher vocational curriculum. Finally, through the research summarizes strategies for ensuring the effective link of higher vocational courses, including improve vocational link management system, to further protect the smooth convergence; the establishment of pluralistic participation in vocational curriculum articulation of communication platform; to implement the credit system, curriculum elastic cohesion; strengthen the building of the contingent of teachers, improve teachers’ quality. Through the above strategies to protect the secondary vocational education and higher vocational education curriculum can effectively link, improve the quality and efficiency of vocational education, and expand its influence in the whole society.
