The effective connection between secondary and higher vocational education is the key to meet the requirements of economic development and industrial structure adjustment,embody the concept of lifelong education and construct a modern vocational education system with coordinated development.The curriculum system of secondary and higher vocational colleges is the most important carrier of talent training in secondary and higher vocational colleges,and it is the content of key exploration,research and practice to establish and perfect the modern vocational education system.The professional curriculum of secondary vocational education needs to serve for the cultivation of vocational ability in higher vocational education.Perfecting the connection of professional curriculum system of secondary and higher vocational education is an important guarantee to enhance students' professional ability.Therefore,the study of curriculum convergence in higher vocational education is still a very important topic at present.By using the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview,combined with the professional ability that hotel industry talents should possess,this paper explores and studies the curriculum convergence of middle and higher vocational education in hotel management specialty under the new situation,and designs a more reasonable and effective curriculum connection scheme for secondary and higher vocational education around the core theory of CBE(competency-based Education).This theory is divided into six parts to elaborate:The first part analyzes the background and research methods of the curriculum system connection of hotel management specialty in middle and higher vocational colleges,explains the related concepts,reviews the research status at home and abroad,and puts forward the theoretical basis of this research.The second part analyzes the influencing factors of vocational ability training of higher vocational students majoring in hotel management.In the third part,the basic situation of vocational ability training and hotel talent demand in middle and higher vocational courses of hotel management specialty is investigated and analyzed from the aspects of students,teachers,enterprises and so on,and the results of the analysis of the present situation of the connection between middle and higher vocational education in hotel management major are obtained by using the methods of questionnaire investigation and evaluation,statistical analysis and evaluation.The fourth part,through the analysis of the present situation,summarizes the outstanding problems and causes of the engagement of higher vocational courses in the management of the hotel,and analyzes the training objectives,the course setting,the content of the course,the implementation of the course and the course evaluation of the higher vocational course from the perspective of the CBE.The countermeasures to solve the problem are put forward.In the fifth part,according to the countermeasures of curriculum connection in middle and higher vocational education from the perspective of CBE,the curriculum connection design of hotel management specialty in middle and higher vocational education based on CBE is carried out,and some suggestions for the effective implementation of the design are put forward.The sixth part,Conclusion and deficiency.
