| Teacher ethics is not only directly related to the students’ growth, but also the cornerstones to maintain the dignity of teachers. As one of the core content of teacher education, professional ethics construction is facing new demands and challenges in the new era. On the one hand, due to the some misconduct occurs, attention to ethics training at the national level is risen to unprecedented heights; on the other hand, with the teachers’ professional development, demands of professional ethics is also growing. However, currently ethic teaching in China mainly focuses on advocacy of the idealized model and cultivating character of individual teachers, but failed in resolving teachers’ ethical dilemmas in their daily works, neither took enough attention on enhancing teachers’ ethic thinking level. After analyzing the current problem and reason of invalid ethics education, the author sorted out related foreign advanced experience in ethics education. By learning from their experience, combined with our current ethical problems faced by teachers in practice, an action research in a primary school in Hangzhou was carried out, in order to explore a practical method to raise teachers’ ethical thinking level.To be specific, the thesis has three main sections.The section reviewed the related researches of ethics education domestic and abroad, collects result of the present situation, problems and path. The ideas and methods of this research is cleared.The second section first carries on the analysis of present teacher ethics education situation in China, points out the main problems is emphasizing personality too much, while lack of attention on teacher ethics at practical level. Then explore the negative results caused by lack of teach ethics teaching. In the end of this section, the author tried to find out the reasons of education invalidity from traditional, national and social level.In first part of the third section, the author analyzed contemporary popular foreign ethics education model, and divided them into three categories. One is the interpretation of code of conduct, addressing the specific problems of teachers during their teaching practice; the second is the case studies, cultivating the level of teachers’ professional ethic thinking; the third is to construct models to support teachers make the right ethical decisions. On this basis, combining with China’s actual situation, the author tired to introduce the case studies teaching and carry out an action research in a primary school. By analyzing the results of action research, the author did some reflection and prospects, in order to explore the feasibility of enhancing the level of teachers’ ethical thinking by case studies. |
