Teachers are the key to the quality of education.Numerous studies show that mathematics teachers’ knowledge and skills in the classroom development of novice teachers’ MKT.In this study, three novice teachers from teaching for less learning experience for students and math cognition have an important impact.How to improve the post-service mathematics teachers, especially early mathematics teachers’ quality and professional development is one of the hot issues of the current teacher education research. Research on teachers’ knowledge of which is one of the important research direction.The research whose carrier is plural surveys novice teachers’ and experienced teachers’ MKT factual level.By comparison, highlighting the gap between the two, finding the reasons for the gap between mining and seeking effective ways to promote the than two years and a experienced teacher from teaching for more than 10 years are selected.Taking a variety of research methods as a questionnaire, an in-depth interview and a classroom observation, from five dimensions including specialized content knowledge,horizon content knowledge,knowledge of content and curriculum,knowledge of content and student and knowledge of content and teaching,the research surveys the two groups teachers’ MKT level about plural.The results can be summarized as follows:(1)The novice teachers’ level on specialized content knowledge in plural is lower than the experienced teacher’.The novice teachers don’t understand the concept of plural.(2)The novice teachers’ level on the horizon content knowledge in plural is lower than the experienced teacher’.The novice teachers can’t understand the connection between plural and the other knowledge.But their difference on the longitudinal direction is small.(3) The novice teachers’ level on the knowledge of content and curriculum in plural is lower than the experienced teacher’.The novice teachers have not yet formed a complete view of mathematics and have not deep understanding of the intent of teaching choreography.(4)The novice teachers’ level on the knowledge of content and teaching in plural is lower than the experienced teacher’.The novice teachers can not correctly predict students’ cognitive difficulties and errors.(5)The novice teachers’ level on the knowledge of content and student in plural is lower than the experienced teacher’.The novice teachers can’t understand the mathematics teaching and the implementation of teaching correctly.The conclusion from the survey results:The MKT level of the novice teachers is not optimistic.The novice teachers’ is lower than the experienced teachers’.According to the results and the cause analysis, make the following recommendations to improve the MKT level of the novice teachers:(1)Read more monographs about math and math education and journal articles mathematics to improve the theoretical knowledge base;(2)Re-examine the teaching content at the point of "teaching" for the reasonable arrangements for the teaching content and the choice of teaching methods;(3)Reflect the teaching design and the situation of the teaching implementation after each class,discuss and exchange the ideas with experienced teachers.
