Design And Implementation Of The Instruction Map Based On Electronic Double Whiteboards

Nowadays, Information Technology has been deeply applied to education, Multimedia Teaching is more and more widespread and thorough, too. Though the multimedia teaching model has more advantages than the traditional teaching model, with the popularity and depth of Multimedia Teaching, more and more problems are exposed, Any one of these are likely to lead to the failure of teaching activities. The study will design and implement a software named InstructionMap on the basis of the Electronic Double Whiteboards to resolve the current problems existing Multimedia teaching and better meet the needs of today’s teaching.This article analyzes the problems of Multimedia Teaching, It also discusses the necessity and urgency of the design and implementation of InstructionMap, at last the paper details the specific processes of the development of InstructionMap system. The paper gives us a detailed analysis for users’demand in the design process of the system, and then designs a functional module system should have, discusses the reasons that system should be designed like that. I achieve a fully functional module on the basis of these processes. InstructionMap includes the main interface function module, the display function modules of resource and the storage and read function module of data, the main interface function module contains the drawing, folding, expanding, zooming and panning of map and the edit of nodes of map and so on. These functional modules are designed and realized in the framework of WPF. The implementation process of system mainly used technology such as MVVM pattern and XML data storage technology and other related technologies. The design of the system is mainly completed in the view of MVVM pattern, the main behind logic is completed in the model of MVVM pattern, The view model of MVVM pattern mainly be used to establish and control the respond events between the main interface and the behind data. The data of InstructionMap is stored in the custom nodes of XML. With the programming and testing, all of the functional blocks have been achieved and normally run on the operating system that with the basis of the Electronic Double Whiteboards.Finally, the paper analyzes and compares the characteristics between InstructionMap with the traditional Multimedia Teaching tools and other teaching tools. The paper considers that InstructionMap has a significant advantage in the Interactivity and relevance and the richness of resources, it should be vigorously promoted and used in practice teaching. The appearance of InstructionMap will bring convenience and benefits for teaching activities,it will also has a great impact on the students creative thinking and enthusiasm of student learning.
