China’s traditional rural relationship follows the differential mode of association. The whole rural social structure is extended by kinship and geographical relation. Since China’s reform and opening up, China’s rural society as well as the city has also been involved in the wave of the economic reform. Drived by market economy, the connections between members of rural society are very different from before, so is the behavior logic of farmers accordingly.DL village is a traditional natural village, located in the southern region. In the past, interpersonal communication between people was principled by traditional ethics. However, With the development of agricultural industrialization, the establishment of rural land joint-stock cooperative and the gradual perfection of agricultural market, non-flow conditions of the social structure was gradually broken which social relationship were based in the past. People’s communication style selection and value orientation, behavior, radical changes have taken place. Rural traditional pattern of social relations gradually transfer to the modern pattern.With DL village as a case, this study means to use the method of empirical research to explore its social relations change on a village level.The paper is constructed by five parts. Chapter one introduces research question; reviews the literature; tease out three main path of social relations. The first one is based on ethical culture socialist path; the second focuses on the social network of the implication of structuralism path; the last is based on internal whole country organized path. Chapter two introduces the design idea of this paper, including the interpretation of the relevant concepts, unit of analysis, case study background and research methods, etc. The third part and the fourth part describe the changes of DL village from traditional to modern pattern in details, which is directed by the time dimension and based on the empirical data. Among them, chapter three describes in detail the traditional rural social relationship which is characterized by "clan" and "geography" through the analysis of the cultural basis of traditional rural social relationship and natural conditions. About chapter four, this article has accordingly analyzed the modern pattern when the joint-stock cooperative is established and the tobacco is industrialized in DL village. After intervention, the author find that the village shows a trend of weakening in the geopolitical relations, and of slackening in kindred spirit, however a new industry relationship is formed on the basis of market mechanism, and the personal interests and rationality have highlighted. It mainly says the modern rural social relationship is based on the "market" and "personal interest" as the basic characteristics of differentiation. Chapter five namely the last part tries to comb the logic of a rural social relations change from the two "relationship" and "interest" dimensions. Then it analyzes the real driving force of the change is derived from the industrialized operation of agriculture under the market economy. Except that, the article also makes a simple discussion about the problem of social memory disappearance under the transformation of rural society.
