Higher education is not as it claimed, there is no gender discrimination. But in the perspective of gender, feminist points out that the phenomena exist in the higher education field, such as, ignoring the knowledge and experience of women, overlooking the historical contributions of women, etc. Marxist feminism pointed the way of women’s liberation:Abolition of private property. This requires not only women but also the other half of the human population-men to throw themselves into the liberation cause. But the survey indicates that the gender concept of male undergraduates fails to change synchronously with female undergraduates. Changes in boys lag behind girls. Therefore, gender education is not only for women’s education, men are also covered. Androgyny theory advocates that under the premise of valuing gender differences, we should cultivate the individual of healthy personality who possesses both masculinity and femininity. In order to realize people’s development freely and roundly, we should carry out gender education based on androgyny theory. Starting from educational philosophy, teaching materials and curriculum, teachers and campus culture, we will break the traditional gender stereotypes, remove gender essentialism, cut off the transmission of traditional gender concept. Only in this way we can eventually reach the aim of gender equality.
