In this context, if the rural poor areasof Hubei blindly pursue education rate, the pursuit of educational achievement, butneglect the coordinated development of education and the economy, occupationeducation and general education, it will only increase financial burden in rural poorareas, and brings new difficulties to realize the target of poverty reduction.The article thinks, in short-term, ignoring the positive effect of occupation education on poverty reduction, and pursuit of education rate blindly has moreharm than good on poverty reduction in Hubei rural family. In order to maximizeshort-term interests in rural poor areas of Hubei and long-term interests and thebasic right of education, even in poor areas are not violated, but not as a result ofthe enrollment rate is too high, so weaken the power of economic and socialdevelopment in rural poor areas of potential and to increase farmers’ income, it isnecessary to the completion of nine years of compulsory education in rural poorareas, Hubei education rate, especially in secondary and higher educationenrollment rate to the total control, reasonable distribution of total enrollment planin rural poor areas of Hubei and the ordinary higher education and the higheroccupation education quota, and, encourage and support students in rural poor areasof Hubei to the secondary occupation school.
