Self-confidence is the foundation of healthy personality. To cultivate the students’ self-confidence is one of the characteristics of modern quality education. Self-confidence research itself has the widespread application value in the field of social practice, and learning self-confidence is important embodiment of self-efficacy theory in the field of education. Learning confidence reflects the individual control over their learning behavior and learning ability of a subjective judgment, is to oneself has the ability or skill could be used to complete the study task of confidence degree of evaluation. It will indirectly affect students’ academic achievement. Therefore, the study of the learning confidence is a worthy of our teachers focus on important topics. In recent years, the self-confidence research at home and abroad has been more and more psychologists and education workers.In a large amount of student English learning confidence, according to the literature phenomenon of poor student of English has an inevitable and profound relationship with learning confidence. To this end, the author in a poor student of English and learning self-confidence, on the basis of combing theory and research results in Lujia Primary School graduating class students as the research object, through questionnaire survey and interview with parents, students to abserve a variety of ways, such as detailed analysis of the current situation of primary school students English learning self-confidence, such as students in will, psychological pressure, learning interest, learning motivation show different aspects such as the self-confidence status quo. Also from the family background, the emotional education of teachers, students teaching attitude to analyze the factors affecting English learning confidence. And through the questionnaire investigation results and the academic performance of students selected24students as an object of group guidance will be divided into the experimental group and the control group. Develop group guidance scheme based on enhanced confidence level and the experimental group was12times group intervention guidance, control group without any coaching. At the end of the guidance of the experimental group and the control group before and after the results were statistically analyzed respectively, and the students and parents are related to the interview.This research mainly adopts questionnaire survey and the method of group guidance, through the statistical analysis found that:(1) primary school graduating class students have an upper level in English learning confidence.(2) different demographic variables of children learning confidence level exists significant differences.(3) the group guidance to promote English poor student learning self-confidence with immediate effect.
