Self-confidence refers to the psychological experience that an individual produces on the basis of objective understanding and full estimation of his or her own behavior ability and value,which is an important driving factor for the development of children's psychology.Previous studies have focused on the importance of confidence in children's emotional,social development and influencing factors,while the intervention of children's selfconfidence is less.Before 6 years old,it is a critical period of physical and mental for children,problems at this stage will not only have negative effects at the time for children's development,and may also have a long-term negative impact on the psychological development of the future comprehensive ability.This study mainly examined how to improve the self-esteem of preschoolers(ages 3 to 6).Specifically,this study aims to improve the level of self-esteem of pre-school children by setting up different curriculum intervention programs(games)and coordinating family themes education(parent class).And the results showed that:1.The level of confidence between the experimental group and the control group was not significant before the experiment.After the experiment,the level of children's confidence was found significant difference,and in several dimensions of self-confidence,(self-efficacy,achievement,self-expression)in experimental group were significantly higher than the control group.This shows that after the course intervention,the level of children's selfesteem is improved.2.The family education,according to the results of the experimental group and control group before and after test,there were no significant differences in the short term.The improve of children's self-confidence is not by the way of family education.3.Moreover,this study examined the relationship between children's self-confidence and other social development of children such as emotional management,problem behavior,peer problems,hyperactivity,and pro-social behavior.The results show that in the pre-test,the relationship between emotional problems and confidence in the development of children's strength and weaknesses is not significant,and significant negative correlation is found in the post-test.It shows that the improvement of children's confidence can reduce the occurrence of emotional problems to children in some extent.
