According to the investigation, we find students of Senior One have somedifficulties in studying plane vector.This essay, based on the current research, dedicatesthe barriers of students of Senior One when studying the plane vector and brieflyexpresses the path of promoting the ability to learn plane vector under the new courseproject background.By retrieving the reference, doing the research queries and interviewing thestudents, this essay explores the difficulties in teaching plane vector.The author finds theemotional and acknowledgeable problems between them, and then analyzes the causesof these barriers in five parts.After analyzing the causes of learning barriers of the Senior One students, theauthor, combining the Polya "How to problem-solving table", the metacognition theoryandAPOS theory, gives some simplified teaching tactics including the points below:Firstly, attach much importance on the ability of metacognition.Teachers shouldteach students how to learn plane vector through three steps by supervising the students’mastering the concept of vector, enhancing two theorems teaching, and strengtheningthe training about the vector language transforming.And also, Teachers should letstudents know how to work out the problems by Polya "How to problem-solving table"and tutor them how to introspect and how to develop the self control ability.Secondly, update teachers’ concept of teaching and develop the effectiveresources.To clarify, emphasize the Question and Answer activities in the classroom,analyze learning situation to optimize the teaching, and by recycling the courseresources, change “trash” into “treasure”.
