The Research On The Influence Of Fostering Primary School Student’s Cooperation Consciousness Through Short Term Outward Bound Training

Cooperation is becoming more and important in today’s society; therefore,having a good cooperative consciousness is not only the need of social development,but also an essential quality in the growing process of the pupils. Cooperation isindispensable not only in daily life and studying, but also in the cooperation withpeople after stepping into the society. Because the character of the pupils has not yetfully formed, it has a higher plasticity in developing their cooperative consciousness.As the successors of the future socialist construction of the country, the pupils shouldhave higher cooperative consciousness. But through the investigations and theinterviews, it was found that at present the pupils’ cooperative consciousness is notstrong, therefore, it should get extensive attention in the ways of cultivating thepupils’cooperative consciousness.At present the outward bound industry is developing very rapidly, the outwardbound companies took the training to the school campus gradually, and it is popularamong the students. The outward bound is an experiential learning. It is a new way oflearning for different groups of people based on absorbing the results of pedagogy,educational psychology researching. The outward bound can cultivate students’ goodpersonality, improve one’s interpersonal skills and communication ability, andenhance cooperation ability. It is an educational method to improve thecomprehensive quality. Therefore, it has a great advantage in cultivating students’cooperative consciousness.Thus, through the methods of literature, expert interview, questionnaireinvestigation, observation, mathematical statistics, and theoretical analysis, and startfrom the pupils’ cooperative consciousness investigation on the current situation andthe pupils’ basic characteristics, this thesis analyzes the reason of the lack of thepupils’ cooperative consciousness, using practical educational theory, situationallearning theory and cognitive learning theory as the theoretical basis of cultivating thepupils’ cooperative consciousness of outward bound. From the popularity of theshort-term outward bound among the pupils and the importance of cultivating thecooperative consciousness, and the agreement of teachers towards the short-termoutward bound cultivating the pupils’ cooperative consciousness and the importanceas the reality basis. Then from the mode, function, organization and method toanalyze the influence of outward bound to students’ cooperative consciousness, itcome to the conclusion that through the short-term outward bound, it has a great change in understanding the cooperative consciousness and in cooperative attitude,and a big improvement of the cooperative willingness. It shows that the pupils get agood improvement in cooperative consciousness through the short-term outwardbound, and it has a positive influence to cultivate the pupils’ cooperativeconsciousness.
