Michael W Apple set curriculum theory in contemporary American education,which has wide repercussions; curriculum theory in contemporary Americaneducation has wide repercussions, whose theory has aroused great interest of domesticscholars. Professor Apple’s curriculum theory has critical features and politicalcharacteristics, who uses contextual analysis mode analyzes the impact of the political,economic, culture on school curriculum theory. By analyzing the structure of Apple’scurriculum theory, think that his curriculum theory is the mainstream ideology of theUnited States to implement and use in the educational process, and his course is havesome reference to Chinese political education curriculum development.This paper analyzes the background form, content, critical characteristics andinfluencing factors of professor Apple’s curriculum theory, that factors includedfactors include the impact of state ideology of the school curriculum, and the impactof hegemonic globalization on the economic conditions of the school curriculum,potential impact on the school curriculum courses. This paper analyzes the value anddefects Apple’s curriculum theory, which assume that the country should continue toimprove the ideological and political education curriculum and textbook system,in-depth study and research socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics,the socialist core values through teaching fertility people in the process, lay thetheoretical confidence, confidence ideological foundation system. We shouldstrengthen the practice and experience of Chinese extraction, strengthen strategicresearch on global issues, build academic discourse system and evaluation criteriawith Chinese characteristics.
