Martial arts as the Chinese nation’s traditional arts infinite impact to people’s life. Theintroduction of the martial arts courses in school education will also be the traditional Chineseculture and Chinese traditional thnic sports into a more harmonious. Martial arts is aconcentration of martial education, form aesthetics, martial basic skill, and fight against theproject for the integration of comprehensive fitness, healthy heart program. Martial artsperformance forms, simple implementation, cultivate one’s morality raises a gender, is thecontinuation of the inheritance of the Chinese national spirit, is worth we spend more time tostudy, to create.Junior high school education in the school education gold stage, the physicaldevelopment of students, emotional development has reached a new level. At this stage howto guide students to learn better, exercise, develop good habits and to develop the rightattitude is crucial. Martial arts in the junior middle school education should take the importantcarrier, carrying dual hone students’ physical and mental, should become an important part ofschool physical education, to improve students’ physical quality, optimize the student thoughtpersonal character, multiple effect to improve students’ sense of self-defense.However, the martial arts in the current situation of junior high school education is notoptimistic. This article through to yantai14schools in five areas, interview, analysis,summary, the results are as follows:(1) Yantai city junior high school of martial arts teaching popularity is not high, setmartial arts school, the teaching current situation is grim, students physical and mental needsunmet.(2) Yantai city junior high school professional martial arts teacher shortages, the projectto carry out and the driving situation, the age structure of the teachers and education, and soon and so forth in line with the teaching of primary and secondary schools, but the backward teaching method and old ways. In addition, the school teachers training system is still notperfect.(3) Yantai city junior high school students attitude to martial arts, is not much interestedin learning this course, it goes back to the course arrangement, scheduling, and improperteaching materials aging, poor pertinence. In addition, the evaluation system is not sound, sothat the students learning motivation, students lose enthusiasm.(4) Lack of awareness of yantai city junior high school of martial arts school, support isnot large, money does not reach the designated position. To martial arts teaching is generallyignored.(5) Yantai city junior high school of martial arts sport propaganda is not enough,propaganda channel co., LTD. Middle school little communication between martial artscompetitions, performances, not conducive to the embodiment of the value of wushu exercise.Aiming at the status quo, this paper puts forward the countermeasures to solve theproblem: changing thinking, enhance understanding of martial arts sport; Will intensifypropaganda of martial arts courses, strengthen competition between schools exchange;Enhance the adaptability of school martial course to make it more close to the student life,show the artistic charm; Strengthen the teacher training, promotion of martial rank in theintroduction of the concept and self-defense self-defense. Health education view, takes themartial education, improve students’ comprehensive quality. Strengthen the communicationbetween teachers and students, to explore suitable for middle school teaching of newcurriculum concept and teaching methods; To strengthen the evaluation system, so that thestudents enthusiasm, in learning, sports meet of body and mind in many aspects.
