The Study Of The Quality Of The Instructors Of Students Associations In High School

The thesis focuses on the study of the present situation of students associations, what theinstructors of these associations think and do, what on earth hinders the full reflection of thesignificance and value of these associationsin senior high school from the perspective ofeducation management.And try to put forward some suggestions for the development of theseassociations.The study shows that most senior high schools in Yantai have their own studentsassociations, but the number of them,the activities they held, and the time allocated vary fromone to another. What’s more, the allocation of instructors, financial support, and evaluation ofthe results are also not the same. Following the trace of development of several associations inNO3Middle School, especially the MUN association, the study analyzes the quality of theinstructors, summarizes the characters of high school students and reveals the differences indifferent communities’understanding of students associations in senior high schools.The study searched out the position of students associations in school management fromthe perspective of management and organization and deeply analyzed the causes of problemsin the management of students associations in terms of school philosophy, teachers’ role anddemocratic cultures, etc. The study shows what hinders the development of the studentsassociations are unclear positioning of the management and origination of the studentsassociation, the lack of teaching philosophy of running a school with distinctive features,incompleteness in selection, appointment, training, and evaluation mechanism and unformedopen and domestic campus culture.Ultimately, the study proposes the following suggestions for the improvement of thequality of the instructors: watching and learning, participating in activities related to theconstruction and development of the associations such as seminars and training activities. Thestudy hopes to help instructors play a good role in promoting the development of studentsassociations.
