Study On The The Stutas, Problems And Strategies Of Patriotic Education In Xinjiang Colleges And Universities

President Xi Jinping stressed that "Ideological work is extremely important, which concerns theCPC’s development, the long-term stability of China, national cohesion and centripetal force"The patriotic education is an important aspect of ideological work, and it makes a difference to the“Three Confidence” and the realization of Chinese Dream. College students are the main force toconstruct the harmonious society, to realize the Chinese Dream and the great rejuvenation of theChinese nation. Consequently, their patriotic emotion has a deep influence on the Marx doctrine, thecommunist belief and China socialist belief and their overall development.The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which locates at the northwest border of the motherland,is a multi-ethnic, multi religious coexistence of ethnic minority autonomous region, where the patrioticeducation in Colleges and universities is not only of more importance, but also of more difficult andComplex Circumstance. Based on the analysis of the particularity and the importance of he patrioticeducation of college students in Xinjiang, this article presents its condition, existing questions and then,explores the countermeasures to optimize the patriotism education by combining with the actualsituation.The article consists of four parts:The introduction part introduces the research background and the significance of the patrioticeducation of university students in Xinjiang, reviewing of the research status of domestic and foreignscholars, and the research methods and ideas.The second part analysis the content of the concepts which are based on the understanding ofpatriotism and patriotism education.The third part analysis the particularity and the significance of the patriotic education of collegestudents in Xinjiang, and presents its condition, existing questions.The forth part is the optimization of the patriotic education of university students in Xinjiangcountermeasures and suggestions.
