The Research On Ideological And Political Education In Higher Vocational Colleges In Network Information Age

The coming of the network information age brings not only lots of opportunities but also challenges to ideological and political education in vocational colleges. Since the network is extremely complicated, the students are more likely to be affected by the network. Therefore, it is a significant subject in the new period for vocational colleges to take the advantage of network and find the efficient methods to promote the ideological and political education.This paper analyzes present situation, problem and countermeasure of ideological and political education in vocational colleges in network information age. Firstly, the paper analyzes the characteristics of network information age and the characteristics of students in vocational colleges and the influence on the students. Secondly, the paper analyzes the coming opportunities and challenges in the network information age. The information age network has created a new platform, providing abundant resource and multiple employment channels, and it would develop the ideological and political education in vocational colleges. However, in the information age, the subject status of the teacher is challenged. At the same time, the information age network also gives more challenges to the methods of ideological and political education, and the content and environment of ideological and political education work become more complex. Thirdly, the paper analyzes the current situation of ideological and political education in the domestic higher vocational colleges. From the research results, even the ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges have made some accomplishments currently, the main pattern of learning textbook, listening from lecture and the traditional classroom learning are unable to adapt to the information age network requirements totally, and more adaption and improvements should be taken in further.Finally, countermeasures of ideological and political work in vocational colleges are presented under the background of network information, namely, creating a network for ideological and political education; strengthening the building of contingent of ideological and political educators; role play to students’initiative, enhancing students’ self-education performance.
